The company is owned and operated by Bernard Boling, who has worked in the roofing trade in Austin since 1994. Over the years Bernard has installed and fabricated a wide variety of roofing systems and architectural metal components, with particular expertise in standing seam metal roofing, premium shingles, and custom sheet metal work.

Our Approach to Roofing
Bernard’s approach to roofing is rooted in traditional installation methods designed for durability. Many modern roofing systems rely heavily on sealants and caulking, but BECO Services emphasizes installation techniques that allow the roofing system itself to shed water properly.
This includes practices such as soldered flashings and carefully fabricated metal components, methods that have historically allowed metal roofs to last for generations. Some refer to this approach as “traditional” because it follows the way roofs were built before the widespread use of caulking and rubber pipe boots.
The goal is simple: build roofing systems that last and perform well over time.

Since the 1990s Bernard has worked on a wide range of roofing projects, installing everything from barn roofs to complex architectural roofing systems, including custom sheet metal fabrication such as trim pieces, roof panels, and decorative metal elements.
While metal roofing is a specialty, BECO Services also works with other roofing systems. Many custom homes today include balconies or decks built over living spaces, which require specialized waterproofing systems. The company has extensive experience installing and repairing modified flat roof systems, along with other residential and commercial roofing applications.
